Great Events Just Keep On Coming!

I am happy to say that the fruit of your board’s hard work and great ideas has begun to pay off big time. Our recent Chapter events have been real winners, and the year is still young.  

First, I’d like to thank all those that were able to make it to our Quinn Cat Demo event and Cornhole Tournament April 10. Many thanks to Quinn Company in Oxnard for hosting the Chapter, and to Jake Bates our Associate Member Rep and Quinn sales team member for securing the site. Also, let’s show our appreciation to event Sponsors SiteOne and Groundcare Landscape for their continued support of our Chapter.

Next, I want to thank the attendees of our May 2 event that began at Ventura Coast Brewing and moved to the office of Jack Kiesel of Kiesel Designs 1½ blocks away because of sound issues. A special thanks to Holly Lepere our Santa Barbara Area Liaison for putting on a great presentation about landscape photography. Both of these events were well-attended, very informative, and great fun.

On behalf of the board, we would like to thank those people who help put on our events, as well as those who attend them. We really enjoy networking with all our members. Plan to attend our future events; you are really missing out if you don’t. Our Annual Fishing Trip is coming up on lucky Friday, September 13. It will be here before you know it so be sure to secure your spot on the boat. In previous years the spots have been filled a couple months in advance, so don’t miss out.

Finally, we’ll see you at the SFV Regional Landscape Beautification Awards Banquet June 22 at Monterey Concessions at Encino Golf Course. Members from SFV, CI and LA/SGV chapters will be showing off their best projects, their professionalism, and their creativity.
