Busy Summer Planned

July is Smart Irrigation Month, a campaign that brings together irrigation companies and industry professionals to educate customers about water-use efficiency, so don't forget to optimize the irrigation timers for summer.

Our annual fishing trip is fast approaching, and spaces are filling up so don't miss out. Call John Hernandez at (626) 715-1757 today so you can reserve your spot. Every year we sadly have to deny people the opportunity to join us on the boat because of space limitations. We do have room for more Sponsors, however. The fishing trip is our main fundraiser, so we really do appreciate the companies and individuals that support our chapter’s efforts throughout the year.

Channel Islands chapter members are invited to SFV’s next events, an Estate and Will presentation July 25 at Landscape Warehouse – North Hollywood, and a NextGen roundtable Discussion getting tips and wisdom from seasoned pros at Smith Pipe in Van Nuys August 22.

We are also invited to participate in State CLCA’s “How to Make Money in Landscaping” seminar September 5 also at Landscape Warehouse – North Hollywood. Looking ahead, we are setting up a Lightning Event by SPJ Lighting on November 7 at Devil Mountain Nursery in Filmore. So, mark your calendar and keep an eye out for more information about these worthwhile and fun activities.
